Daniel Hulliger's interest is to
demonstrate the theoretical, practical and historic connections
between different martial arts styles and disciplines. In his
practice of Gongfu health care, martial art and theoretical training
have merged into an inseparable whole:
"If you do not know the others, if
you do not know yourself, if you do not know the circumstances, then
you will be in danger in every single battle." (roughly quoting Sunzi;
