Cristina Sokol found her way to martial arts after a career as a dancer. She is teaching at her own school since 2004, being the first woman to have become a NING MUI instructor. She is interested in martial arts as an overall concept for self-development on different levels.

The co-foundation of the NING MUI Monastery arose from her aim to put her studies to practice.
