August, 2008 Lex Reinhart, Oliver Hasler and Cristina Sokol appear in the 'Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Chinese Wushu Treasure Stamp Album'. This limited edition of 7'200 copies is a contribution to Chinese Wushu. The portraits of Lex and Cristina are published on page 6 in the chapter 'Wushu Apparatus and the 18 Kinds of Weapons' (pictures 3 and 8, from right to left). The portrait of Oliver is published on page 18 in the chapter 'The Earliest National Wushu Competition in New China' (picture 1, from the right). |

July 14, 2008 Oliver Hasler takes part in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in the sports category Wushu, the division of Sanshou, in the weight category 85 kg. His story was published in various news papers in Switzerland, amongst others in the national paper 'Blick', the one with the highest mass circulation. As announced by the organizer, "the Wushu tournament will be treated as a gala event." According to the schedule, Oliver has his first fight on Friday, August 22nd, at 16:24 hours local time. Let's cheer for him... :-) |

February 3, 2008 Anna-Marie Morf is the second woman, after Cristina Sokol, to become a fully approved instructor (Jiaolian) in our organisation. After an instruction process of many years candidates are examined by different experts in a test consisting of several parts. This examination takes several months and is concluded by the 'last chamber'. Key issues thereby are the professional competence as well as the instruction skills. As an instructor Anna also becomes member of the Heads of Schools & Instructors Committee, which makes decisions on important Organisation issues. |
