Yiquan training at it's source! Yiquan literally means 'mind fist'. 'Yi' stands for the power of imagination, conciousness, will, intention, 'Quan' for boxing, martial art and way of study. Yiquan is also known as Chan boxing under the name of Dachengquan (Ta Cheng Chuan). The founder Wang Xiangzhai (1885-1963) has combined in his system of practice the essence of  the Chinese internal martial arts. In it, meditation, health preservation and martial art aspects mutually complement each other, so as to form a unique and highly effective synthesis.
Yao Chengrong is one of Yao Zongxun's (1917-1985) two sons, the successor of founder Wang Xiangzhai. Since he was a child Yao Chengrong has learned this martial art from his father and other Yiquan masters. Today Yao Chengrongis is known as much for his unreserved way of passing on his knowledge as for a clear structure in instruction and a good sense of what is realistic.
