generation Shifu in the first edition on the 'Ip Man Ving Tsun
Genealogy' (October 2005, pages 7, 47, 111, 140). Being a Baishi
student of Samuel Kwok Shifu, he is also mentioned as Kwok's
student (page 44). The following persons
are listed in alphabetical order as Baishi students of Lex Reinhart
(page 47):
Baumgartner Roger, Eichenberger Marcel, Hasler Oliver, Hulliger
Daniel, Naepfer Stephan, Sokol Cristina, Waser Marcel, Peter Zahnd.
These names are also listed in the general index from page 127.
Meanwhile, Lex Reinhart has accepted
Christopher Reinhart and Daniel Gentile as further Baishi students
with the official tea ceremony (September 2007). |

The Ving Tsun heritage we see is like an
entrepreneur who has a firm belief and an ability to adapt to
changing times. Wherever he goes, he is able to take root and
blossom to take advantage of the environment. However, despite the
differences in culture, in language and even in the expression of
the martial art, one characteristic of the Chinese culture is
constant - respect for the origin. |
